A whimsical and surreal dance unfolds — a honey jar, coffee mugs, teacups, and a kettle swirl together in a lively tumble of chaos and harmony. Each vessel is uniquely adorned, richly detailed with color, gold, and story. Steam rises like incense, lifting star anise and clove into a golden haze where bees hover and spin around the honey jar. Are they falling? Floating upward? Time feels suspended. The entire piece hums with playful energy — a celebration of chaos, sweetness, and a touch of magic

This was the second piece in what’s become a series that I hold close to my heart. There’s something about the swirling mugs and teacups that brings me straight back to childhood — to that feeling of magic, chaos, and curiosity. I had a blast dreaming up each vessel, giving every mug and cup its own personality through color, pattern, and shape. There’s a real joy I find in trying to capture the shine of porcelain — that smooth, reflective surface that almost feels alive when the light hits just right. This piece, like the others in the series, is a celebration of imagination, memory, and the simple magic of a good cup of tea… or honey… or whatever your soul needs to steep in.
