This painting portrays a surreal bumblebee in motion, set against a glowing white background. Its bold black and golden-yellow stripes are accented with hints of violet and purple, giving it a mystical presence. The bee’s jeweled eyes shimmer with golden flecks like tiny stars, while translucent wings hum with movement. Flowing strokes of black and purple add energy and a dreamlike quality.
More than an insect, the bee emerges here as a radiant symbol of vitality, resilience, and imagination.

This painting is one of my earlier explorations of the bee motif, created long before the Spring Bee Collection took shape. Looking back, I see it as a seed of what would later grow into a much larger body of work. The glowing eyes, bold stripes, and flowing colors already carried the themes of vitality, resilience, and imagination that would become central to the collection.
This piece holds a special place for me—not just as a celebration of the bee, but as an early spark in my journey of transforming them into luminous symbols of life and cosmic significance.
