The Spring Bee Collection
Surreal, Visionary

This vibrant painting features a bold, surreal portrait of a bumblebee crowned with blooming yellow roses. Thorns and buds rise up among them, giving a sense of natural growth and resilience. The bee is rendered in striking detail, with large, iridescent eyes dotted in a rainbow of colors and delicate, blue-veined wings that stretch across the canvas. The bee’s body is fuzzy and rich with texture—its legs dappled with golden pollen. Abstract geometric shapes in teal, and brown, cut across the background, adding a modern and almost architectural contrast to the organic elements.
Faint handwritten script weaves throughout the painting, poetic and dreamlike, adding a layer of mystery and narrative…
“In the hush where dead things dream, a golden bloom still dares to rise, where bumble moves and silence lies…and though the world may wilt and close, there’s magic still where bumble goes, and whispers bloom in yellow rose”

All of my bumblebees carry something personal, but Sunsprite goes deeper. It came from a quiet, powerful season of transformation—a time of healing that brought me back to life with renewed energy, focus, and light.
The poem within the painting is mine. It didn’t come all at once, and it wasn’t something I expected to write. I’m not usually someone who puts thoughts into poems—but this one unfolded slowly, honestly. I followed it. The words speak of rebirth… of what still blooms when everything feels lost… of the quiet strength found in nature’s small miracles—like a bumblebee and a yellow rose.
The bee, detailed and surreal, is a symbol of joy, persistence, and inner momentum. The roses rise from its back like golden messengers—symbols of friendship, warmth, and the kind of hope that doesn’t ask for attention but changes everything.
It’s a piece about coming back to life, one layer at a time.
